SFC maintains a fully staffed and equipped surveying group that is operated and managed under direct control of our on-staff licensed land surveyors. This in-house capability speeds the completion of engineering projects by eliminating the need to obtain this service from an outside firm.  It also assures that the base maps and design software package are uniform and compatible, thus minimizing coordination problems and project costs.  Our surveying team is experienced in the use of the latest survey equipment, software and mapping technologies to perform all survey assignments. These include total stations, Topcon GR-3 dual frequency survey grade GPS receivers, Topcon Tools Software, Trimble Pro XR mapping grade receivers, Trimble Pathfinder Office Software, and Land Development Desktop Software.  Our survey assignments have included topographic and boundary surveys, deed research, utility location, and monumentation.

In addition to supporting a significant amount of traditional boundary and land surveying services for SFC’s in-house engineering projects, including roads, buildings and site development, the SFC survey group also provides services to other engineering consultants, the wireless communications industry, municipalities, and other private industries.

SFC is a member of the New Hampshire GPS Consortium, New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association and other professional associations.
