SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc, Hires State's Only Code Review Specialist

SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc., Manchester, NH welcomes Cheryl Killam as Code and Compliance Review Specialist.

As the only Accessibility Specialist for the State of New Hampshire Governor’s Commission on Disability, Ms. Killam has over 20 years of experience in education and is an expert in the ADA and accessible design requirements. Ms. Killam provides technical assistance, code reviews and site surveys to state agencies, municipalities, architects, contractors, and the general public.
 
Ms. Killam served on the U.S. Access Board Courthouse Access Advisory Committee and was the ADA liaison for the State Courts Accreditation Commission, the Public Water Access Advisory Board, and the Functional Needs Emergency Planning Task Force.  In addition to surveying courthouses, state agencies and polling places, she provided multi-media training on the Americans with Disabilities Act, accessibility standards and disability awareness.

Ms. Killam is a member of the Architectural Barrier-Free Design Committee, the NH Developmental Disabilities Council and the NH Building Officials Association.
