Description

SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc., (SFC) has been contracted by Phillips Exeter Academy multiple times in recent years, and has created a lasting relationship with the academy. SFC has worked with Phillips Exeter on Webster Hall, Phillips Hall, Williams House, Lamont Hall and the campus training center.

For Lamont Hall, SFC conducted a review of the code requirements to determine the accessibility requirements for alterations to the existing buildings and how they applied to the project.  SFC then compared the results of the code review with Architectural, Civil, and Landscaping Drawings. SFC also conducted an on-site review of the completed work to ensure compliance.

In 2010, SFC contracted with Phillips Exeter Academy to provide the Academy with a report outlining the current status of the campus with respect to accessibility. SFC performed a site visit to the Academy and toured the entire campus to evaluate major pathways, parking, building entrances and accessibility of selected buildings. Following the walkthrough, SFC reviewed documentation provided for the accessibility projects ongoing at the Academy and the plans for future renovations. SFC then correlated all of the information obtained and provided a report of recommended priorities for the Academy.
