Flatbread Pizza – Hampton, NH

Scope of Services

Fire Protection Engineering

Description

SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc. (SFC) provided fire protection engineering services to the proposed Flatbread Pizza restaurant in Hampton, NH. Throughout the project, SFC was required to provide code consultations to ensure that the project complied with all applicable fire and life safety regulations. SFC also performed site reviews and examinations, gathered data to determine how the building will operate after the renovations, and contacted the local fire department to discuss local regulations and concerns that may have existed. SFC was also responsible for providing a report that outlined a code review defining any deficiencies noted during this review and recommendations to correct these deficiencies.
The project scope included a completed review of fire and life safety code compliance for the proposed remodeling and alterations to the facility as well as a proposed outdoor fire pit. Recommended exterior alterations included extending the two front corners of the building, creating a new entrance, and adding a “demountable” refrigerator storage unit at the rear of the building. Interior alterations included removing partitions that separate the refrigerator/freezer room from the seating area, installing a dish room and a 10-seat bar, and relocating the small office to the corner of the building.
